Finally something I have been meaning to get to after owning the bag for almost a year, and using it to carry gear all the time: the SOVRN Republic Drifter Backpack/Duffel. This bag converts from a backpack to a duffel bag in a second, which is great, and allows you to use it differently depending on where you are going and what your needs are.
The features of this bag also include side compression straps, three handles, and three main pockets, along with a water bottle pocket on the side. The bag is durable, strong, and showed no signs of wear after being on a ski mountain all winter and thrown in the back of my car at the end of the day.
The large, main pocket is great for holding clothes and larger items during the winter here in New England. I used the Drifter as my bag getting to and from the mountains while snowboarding and the large pocket held my snow pants, gloves, hat, extra shirts, and gloves every day, on and off the mountain.
The medium pocket on the back was great for holding phones, tablets, sunglasses and other items I might want quick access too. Throw your wallet, keys, phone, and glasses in here if you think you might need them for a quick stop along the way, and you won't have any trouble getting to them.
The smallest pocket is located on the back and towards the bottom of the bag. For me this pocket held tools for adjusting my snowboard as well as a lock for when my board was left in the lodge overnight.
Being a GoPro enthusiast, I decided to use the side pocket meant for water bottles to hold the bottom of a GoPole attachment for my GoPro, which allowed me quick access to my GoPro for photos and video on the mountain. Any extra accessories I needed were put right in the large pocket with the rest of my gear for the mountain where they stayed throughout the day, and easily within reach if needed.
Overall the product is a ten, and we highly recommend it to everyone. The bags are not only built right, but they are user friendly and they stand out from the crowd.
